AR incentives - Our media specialist came up with a dog tag program. When kids passed their first test and started earning points they were given a long chain and their first dog tag. This in itself got kids fired up to read. Then every two weeks she had update day and kids that had 10 points or more could earn additional dog tags. Im not exactly sure what her formula for passing out the tags was but Id be more than happy to find out in Aug. when we return to school.
